These Terms govern your access to terraloraceramics.com and your purchase and use of products offered by Terralora Ceramics.

1. Overview
This website is operated by Terralora Ceramics, owned and operated by İbrahim Burak Karakaya.
Throughout this website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Terralora Ceramics.
By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced within them.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
2. Eligibility and Lawful Use
By using this website, you confirm that you have reached the legal age required to enter into a purchase agreement in your place of residence, or that you are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You must not use our website:
- For any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose;
- To interfere with the website or another customer’s use of it;
- To transmit viruses, malicious code, or harmful technologies;
- To obtain unauthorized access to accounts or systems; or
- To copy or scrape website content for unauthorized commercial use.
3. Products and Handmade Variations
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph our products accurately.
Terralora Ceramics products are individually handmade, hand-finished, and hand-glazed. Reasonable differences may occur in:
- Glaze and marbling patterns;
- Color tone and color distribution;
- Brushwork and surface texture;
- Shape and finish;
- Dimensions and capacity; and
- Minor handcrafted details.
Product colors may appear slightly different depending on photography, lighting, screen settings, and display technology.
This provision does not affect your rights where a product is genuinely damaged, defective, unsafe, or materially different from its description.
4. Product Safety and Use
Customers are responsible for reading and following all product descriptions, care instructions, warnings, assembly information, and intended-use guidance.
Ceramic products may break or chip if dropped, struck, exposed to sudden temperature changes, or handled incorrectly.
A cracked, chipped, or otherwise damaged ceramic product should not be used for food, water, pets, children, or any purpose where broken ceramic could cause injury.
Products must be used only for their stated and reasonably intended purposes. Information on our website does not constitute veterinary, medical, nutritional, or other professional advice.
5. Prices and Currency
Product prices are displayed in the currency selected or made available on the website.
We may change product prices before an order is accepted. Price changes do not affect orders already accepted and paid, except where correction is legally permitted because of an obvious pricing or technical error.
Shipping charges, taxes, customs duties, and other applicable costs will be displayed or explained during checkout where reasonably possible.
6. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.
We may review an order for:
- Payment authorization;
- Product availability;
- Shipping and customs restrictions;
- Incomplete or inaccurate information;
- Pricing or technical errors;
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity; and
- Legal, safety, or compliance requirements.
We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably and legally permitted. If an accepted payment is cancelled, the relevant amount will be returned to the original payment method.
7. Personalized and Custom Products
Customers are responsible for checking names, spelling, dates, colors, dimensions, and other customization information before submitting an order.
Personalized products will be produced according to the information provided or approved by the customer.
We are not responsible for errors contained in customer-approved personalization information where we correctly followed the approved instructions.
Personalized and custom-made products may not qualify for change-of-mind cancellation or return after production has begun, subject to mandatory consumer law.
8. Payment
Orders must be paid using a payment method offered during checkout.
You confirm that you are authorized to use the submitted payment method and that your billing information is accurate.
Payments may be processed by independent banks, payment service providers, Shopify, or other authorized providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply.
We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available in every country or for every order.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are prepared and shipped from Kayseri, Türkiye.
Processing periods, delivery estimates, customs information, tracking, and delivery conditions are described in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery periods are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.
10. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Returns, cancellations, exchanges, damaged-product claims, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Our voluntary return policy does not replace or reduce mandatory statutory consumer rights.
11. Customer Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate order, billing, shipping, and contact information.
You are responsible for updating information necessary for us to process and deliver your order.
Additional costs or delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer information may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.
12. Intellectual Property
The Terralora Ceramics name, branding, product photographs, videos, designs, written descriptions, graphics, logos, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Terralora Ceramics.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, publish, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from our protected content.
13. Reviews and Customer Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you confirm that:
- You have the right to submit it;
- It does not infringe another person’s rights;
- It is not unlawful, deceptive, threatening, or abusive; and
- It does not contain malicious software or confidential information.
You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use it for operating and promoting Terralora Ceramics, where permitted by law.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services including Shopify, payment processors, delivery carriers, analytics providers, advertising platforms, and social media services.
Third-party websites and services outside our control are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate, secure, and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or operational reasons.
16. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Terralora Ceramics is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- Intentional misconduct or gross negligence;
- Unsafe or defective products where liability cannot be excluded; or
- Any mandatory right or liability that cannot legally be limited.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, website, services, or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with its revision date. Changes will not unfairly alter the terms of an order already accepted.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and purchases from Terralora Ceramics are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable local law.
Customers are encouraged to contact us before beginning formal proceedings so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Consumers may use any competent consumer authority, arbitration committee, alternative dispute-resolution body, or court available under applicable law.
