Care Guide
Product Care
Simple care helps handmade ceramics and wood pieces keep their finish and function for longer. Always follow any product-specific care instructions shown on the product page.
Ceramics
- Wash before first use.
- Use a soft sponge and non-abrasive cleaner for routine cleaning.
- Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes, which can stress ceramic bodies and glazes.
- Inspect pet bowls regularly and stop using a piece if it becomes deeply cracked or develops a sharp edge.
- If a product page specifically states dishwasher-safe, normal dishwasher cleaning is acceptable; otherwise hand washing is the conservative option.
Wood furniture and stands
- Wipe spills promptly and do not leave wood or MDF components standing in water.
- Clean with a lightly damp cloth, then dry.
- Avoid harsh solvents, bleach, and abrasive pads.
- Keep away from prolonged outdoor exposure unless the product is explicitly described as suitable for outdoor use.
- Periodically check screws and fittings on assembled furniture and retighten if needed.
Storage and handling
Store ceramic pieces where they cannot knock against hard edges. Lift furniture by its structural frame rather than decorative or removable parts.
Food and pet use
Only use a product for food or water when the relevant product listing states that it is intended for that purpose. Product-specific material and care information takes priority over this general guide.
